My training and journey
I completed professional training at the prestigious Hotel and Tourism Schools of Coimbra and Aveiro. Since 2002, I’ve honed my craft across Portugal, Switzerland, Macau, and at sea, shaping a versatile, well‑grounded approach to private dining.

The meal prepared by Chef Bento was the highlight of our weekend in Porto. Rogério arrived on time with an impressive amount of food and equipment and proceeded to create a meal every bit as good as the meal we had enjoyed the previous evening at one of Tripadvisor’s most recommended restaurants in Porto. Our menu had been agreed in advance but all of us were impressed with not only the quality of food but the overall presentation. The table layout and individual printed menus enhanced our experience. As first time users of this service we all felt that having a professional chef in the kitchen is an experience not to be missed and Rogerio Bento should be sought out and booked at the first opportunity!
